My New Favorite
First of all, this book does have the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur. It has information on rosary novenas, including the 54-day novena. It contains the prayer before the rosary and after the rosary. My booklet did include the Luminous Mysteries. Not only did it state the days for the mysteries but the seasonal variations as well. It gives meditations for each mystery in general and also meditations for each bead! And then goes on give alternative or additional meditations. At the end, it gives the Litany of Loreto and a prayer to Our Lady of the Rosary. It is thorough and complete.
PERFECT book to learn the Rosary!
This is a great book on the Rosary! Lots of explanations on how the Rosary was founded and started also has the prayers at the end of the book if you need them. Very beautiful pictures. Even has when you should say which mysteries on which days what times of the year. Really happy with this book and for $3 the price you cant beat!
Complete Guide
I got the smaller version of this to start which I recommend for anyone completely new to the rosary. This one includes the corresponding scriptures too which is the reason I bought it. Its also more sturdy. But this bigger one can be confusing, especially if you're brand new to the rosary. In addition to all of the pages of the small one, this bigger booklet also offers 2 more pages for each mystery (with additional optional prayers and a couple different ways to incorporate the scriptures into each Hail Mary.) It took me a bit to figure out how I wanted to incorporate some of these extras and could definitely be overwhelming to beginners of all ages. Both this bigger book (about the size of a kids book) and the smaller book (pocket size) have everything you need to start including - A diagram showing what beads go with what prayers Explaination of rosary Novenas and First Fridays A prayer for before the rosary and a prayer for after A color coded list of the 4 sets of mysteries (incl what days they're prayed on) A painting for each mystery and a summary of each mystery The intention for each mystery How to say: The Apostle's Creed, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Hail Holy Queen, AND Fatima Prayer (and 3 other prayers in the back)
Beautiful book
Very beautiful book. I didn't realize 12 books came in the package. I am ok with this, I can give out to people who love doing the rosary. Now I don't have to use my cellphone, I have a book I can refer to, everything in one place. It's so beautiful and the picture are rich and colorful so you can reflect on the mysteries. In these times, we need to take time to reflect on God's holy words. For $12.00 you can give to your family and friends. It's a beautiful treasure, all of our souls need this. I am so happy for the extra books, I will be blessings others. Enjoy the vivid pictures
A step or two up from beginners
Good for those already familular with the Rosary, I dont recommend for beginners (read below and see pictures for why) Full color. How to say the Rosary, Rosary Indulgences(p.2) Full page picture of how to physically use the Rosary beads to pray it(p.3) What Rosay Novenas are (p.7) The Five First Saturdays (p.10) Prayer Before the Rosary(p.11) Mysteries of the Rosary and what days to say them on (including Luminous) (p.12-13). They are color ordinated so when going through the mysteries, where each page number is, each set is a different color (see pictures) Each set of mysteries has its own page: full color with the 5 mysteries and small pictures of each, oposite page a discription of that set of mysteries. Each individual mystery has the short version (one page the picture, oposite page the short virsion WITH the Fatima prayer), followed by the long version. (P.14-101). Joyful in blue, Luminous in green and so on (see picture) Prayer after the Rosary & Prayers of the Rosary (p.102-103) The Apostles Creed and Holy Queen (p.104-105) The Litany of Loreto (p.106-107) The 5 New Luminous Mysteries, how/why they were added (p.110-112) I was lookong for a good book with pictures and small description of each mystery for a 7th grader who is new to the Rosary and wanted to learn about it. This book is too much, a little overwhelming. It was too much for me, an adult who knows a little from childhood. I found another book at a religious store and it was more simple. Its also on amazon and I'm goimg to try to add pictures. That would have helped me out. I will be keeping this book and giving it as a confermation gift to my cousin who's dad prays the Rosary so he already knows more about it.
Best rosary book ever - small for purse
Best rosary book ever! I used this to learn to say the rosary a year ago and since have bought and given it to many people who ask me where I found it. This book gives you multiple ways to say the rosary; either the traditional way, or if you have more time, a way to read a line a scripture between each Hail Mary prayer to help meditate on that mystery. It is so beautiful. It is small enough that I carry it in my purse at all times and at any time, such as in a waiting room, instead of looking at my phone for silly social media pictures, I can pull this out and pray a little very easily.
My Favorite Rosary Prayer Book
This has always been my favorite book which which I pray the Rosary. The images are exquisite, under various ways of praying are just wonderful! This book occupies an honored space on my "Prayer Chariot" (Kneeler) and I use it nearly every day. In fact I'm now writing this review because my old book is literally falling apart from good use over the years.
Excellent Rosary meditation book!
The best Rosary book I have ever used, and I've had many. It is a great aid to meditation and your faith will grow if you use it daily. The pictures are wonderful and all 20 mysteries are in here.

This is a Great Tool for Everyone Learning the Holy Rosary!
I love this little booklet! It actually helped me to learn how to correctly pray the Rosary. I used to struggle in trying to learn how to pray the Rosary, but this booklet made a huge difference in my learning the Rosary. It tells you what mysteries are to be meditated on for the day/season in question. It also has all the prayers used in the Rosary, as well as the exact way in which the Rosary is to be said, which is what I used to struggle with, what prayer to pray on what bead, how many, etc. The only complaint I have is the fact that on the page with the instructions for praying the Rosary, where it shows what prayer is said on what bead, it doesn’t show the the Fatima Prayer, also known as the Decade Prayer or the O My Jesus Prayer is to be said after the Glory Be Prayer after each decade. However, it does explain on the first page of each mystery that the O My Jesus Prayer is to be said after the Glory Be. I highly recommend this booklet to anyone having trouble learning the Rosary.
