You Can't Go Wrong with This Level
I'm not sure how a torpedo level could get a bad review. This Stanley level is built well and I've yet to have any issues with it. I'm a machine maintenance mechanic, so I need compact tools and this small level has been a lifesaver. The strong magnet has been extremely useful. You can't go wrong buying this for your toolbox.

Keeps everyone level-headed
Let's face it, who doesn't want to measure things around their home with a torpedo? This thing is straighter than sliced bread, the Four Corners, or I-70. It's like a tangent line to the curvature in space-time. Perfect when you have lots of metal-ly bits to straighten out as it's magnetic. If it flat-lines on you, though, don't even think about hooking it up to a defibrillator as it's shock-proof as well.

It worked great!
I used this Magnetic Shock Resistant Torpedo Level for hanging my bike in the garage. It worked great!

I thought I had a bad level, then I remembered gravity doesn't work selectively
Works very well. I got it out of the box, placed it on my countertop and saw the bubble was off. I thought I had a bad level, then I remembered gravity doesn't work selectively, and I realized my countertop is not level. the magnet is handy, but it also means this item does not have any side worth using as a precise straight edge. Luckily, squares are not expensive.

Nice Mini Level
Best pocket-sized level I've used in a while. It stays in my light bag and has never been damaged. Love the magnetic strip.

Simple, convenient level, and the perfect size for an apartment.
I would have loved one of those super long levels, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of storing it. I wanted a level for small projects around the house; this fit the bill. I opted for the cheaper Stanley model over some of the more expensive brands, and I'm glad I did, because this works great. It's a cute little size, so if you need it for some huge furniture/construction project, this may not be right; but for me, I've been able to use it to hang a knife bar, frames, and level out an IKEA book shelf. All in all, very useful tool, and stores easily in my tool pouch.

10 inch review
I needed a level without a strong magnet This 10-inch level is exactly what I needed to check small things around my home (in particular, a thermostat that is too close to a wall stud). Easy to read and see where the air bubble is located. Why I thought a 10 inch length would be more like a 15 inch length boggles my brain. LOL! I like the brand name, Stanley, too. Next, I need a 24 inch level for toilet.

Spot on.
Seem to be a lot of complaints about accuracy and magnetic holding power. For me horizontal and vertical level are spot on. Magnet holds firm on steel core door, steel siding, and 1 inch steel pipe.

Good for me!
I took a long time to order this because I was not sure what I needed. I do not speak "contractor" and could not make heads or tails of most of the reviews left. I ultimately decided on this one because of the Stanely brand. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. The magnet was strong enough to keep the level in place while I gently adjusted the beam until it was straight. Can't beat the price.

Level headed?
Great little level and it has three vials unlike most of the low priced ones. Plus it is magnetic on one edge and grooved on the other for pipe, etc. Add to that the shock resistant ends and this is a super buy.
